Communicate Early

Long before babies can utter a word, they are ready to communicate. Pointing, grunting, whining, and crying are a few ways babies work to make themselves understood. Teaching signs to your child gives them a language before they have a spoken language. It lets them ‘talk’ before they can physically talk.

The ability to communicate effectively is one of the most important tools in life. Starting communication early through sign language is a great way to get those lines of communication humming.

Communication is the tool that connects us to one another. Humans thrive on connectedness. At a more basic level, we need to communicate to get our needs met. This is especially true for babies.

Giving your child a tool for communicating opens a pathway for interaction and connectedness. It is empowering for your child, and very satisfying for parents.
